A little more about me…

Since I was a kid, I've always thrived in structure and routine — organizing things by color, creating systems where none existed, and finding joy in bringing clarity to chaos. At the same time, I've always been drawn to creativity and visual storytelling. That blend of structure and imagination has shaped my entire career: I design learning experiences that are purposeful, intuitive, and deeply human.

I'm a learning experience designer and instructional strategist who specializes in making complex things clear — for the people learning them and the organizations delivering them. I design learner-centered programs that support confident performance, system adoption, and real skill transfer, especially in fast-moving SaaS and corporate environments.

My corporate L&D experience

Most recently at NielsenIQ, I led end-to-end design of learning programs for both internal teams and external customer audiences — including a multi-phase certification program, a blended digital workshop, and scalable customer onboarding experiences built in Rise and Storyline. I owned projects from needs analysis through LMS deployment, partnering with SMEs, product managers, developers, and facilitators throughout. Pilot completion surveys rated programs at 95% for engagement and applicability.

I also regularly produced and maintained product documentation, job aids, guided walkthroughs, and how-to videos aligned to platform release cycles — and built learning paths that consolidated resources across global teams, segmented by region for US, Western Europe, and Latin America audiences.

I’ve partnered with:

  • SMEs and product managers

  • technical writers and enablement teams

  • customer success and support teams

  • educators and instructional teams

  • cross-functional corporate partners

I do my best work at the intersection of subject matter expertise and learner need — and I've found that the best outcomes come from building those bridges early.

My background in education

Before moving into corporate L&D, I spent nine years as a Lead Instructor and instructional leader in K–12 education — designing curriculum, coaching instructional staff, and facilitating professional development grounded in adult learning principles. That foundation shaped how I think about learning: with empathy for the learner, attention to what actually changes behavior, and a commitment to clarity over complexity.

How I work

I tend to start every project by investing in the people around it — the learners, the SMEs, the stakeholders. I've found that the quality of those early conversations determines the quality of everything that follows. Once I understand the problem and the people, I work methodically: clear objectives, structured process, and high standards for the final product.

Outside of the office…

My husband and I love living in the Pacific Northwest with our two energetic boys, finding new coffee shops to explore, and spending slow weekend mornings with the kids at home enjoying pancakes and music.

Movement has always been part of who I am, so you’ll often find me running or squeezing in a quick barre or yoga session. I’m also usually listening to a podcast or audiobook while completing household chores, driving, or otherwise on-the-go. And when I need something comforting, I’ll happily rewatch episodes of The Office or Parks and Recreation for the millionth time to reset my mood.

These parts of my life shape how I show up professionally: with empathy, adaptability, humor, and a deep appreciation for the people behind the work.
